Thanet Local Plan Saturn Model
The Thanet SATURN model was originally developed to assess transport options for the Local Plan and was adapted to support proposed development at New Haine Road. The adaptation required significant modification to accurately reflect a potential forecast scenario including the dynamics of Manston airport. The model was used to identify the potential impact of the development on the highway network and output from the model was used to support local junction assessments.
