TMS can provide advice and guide the development of new transport models in any of the established industry standard modelling software platforms. This would potentially include scoping discussions and processes with relevant highway authorities, specifying and/or coordinating traffic data collection, base model development including calibration and validation where necessary, and development of forecast traffic models.
This service would also extend to the updating or revalidating of existing models and/or utilising existing models to develop additional forecast scenarios.
Where applicable and agreed this service would include the preparation of supporting reports to evidence the model development process in the form of Local Model Validation Reports (LMVR) and/or Model Forecasting Reports.
