PTV VISUM

PTV Visum is a leading software program for traffic and transport analysis, widely used by Department of Transport, Local Authorities and developers. Visum is a highly adaptable software but is typically used for wider strategic models. The software can also facilitate multimodal models or highway assignment only models. Output from the Visum model is interchangeable with the companion microsimulation software VISSIM for detailed modelling of single or linked junctions.

The VISUM software provides an excellent platform for the visual display of a wide range of model and other data, ideal for presentation purposes. Our staff have provided Visum modelling support for Local Authorities engaging in Local Plan evidence base gathering and developers on large-scale development projects.
