Transport Model Reviews & Auditing

TMS can undertake technical reviews/audits of transport models developed by others.  We can ensure that these models have been prepared in an appropriate manner and are ‘fit for purpose’. Reviews and auditing of transport models are particularly important for public sector bodies such as local planning, highway or unitary authorities.  It can also be used by other private sector consultancies without the specific transport modelling skills/experience or as a ‘top-up’ service.

This service would be evidenced through the production of a summary Audit Report outlining matters that are considered acceptable, any deficiencies and/or errors identified; and highlighting any significant concerns. The conclusion section of the Audit Report will provide professional judgement from TMS on the materiality of issues in relation to the ‘fitness for purpose’ of the model(s).
