The SATURN (Simulation and Assignment of Traffic to Urban Road Networks) software package is a well-established traffic modelling tool, widely used by local authorities and government bodies. This traffic model is a flexible suite of programs that can be used to assess projects from road investment schemes on local networks to major schemes on the wider strategic network.

On a local level the program can be used to model changes such as one-way streets, changes to junction controls, bus only streets etc. On a larger scale the program can deal with large conurbation, regional or even national models and major infrastructure changes.
